Hello

Who I am & What I do

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner

At Three Arrows Mental Health, we work with you and your child to help ensure that they are living their best life possible. There are always struggles in life, however, getting some help along the way makes those struggles more manageable. I have over 20 years of child and adolescent experience and over 8 years of Psychiatric Mental Health experience working with the ages 5-young adults. We provide an integrative approach tailored to each individual's needs.

My passion is to help treat those individuals with intellectual, development and behavior disabilities along with treating a variety of other mental health needs including ADHD, depression, mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, Autism Spectrum, sensory processing disorders. I believe that children are not just smaller adults, they will need their care to be uniquely tailored towards them and what works best.

While I do prescribe medications, this may not be the best option for your child, so we do explore all options.  I believe to be successful, we need to work with the whole family unit to ensure long term sustainable success for both child and parents.

Not only am I a provider, I am also blessed to have a child born with Down syndrome and know how hard it can be to obtain quality care in the mental health field for our unique kiddos. My goal is to help you and your child navigate through the process to obtain as much individual success and independence for your child as possible.

I am a dually certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner and am board certified by the American Nurses Credential Center as well as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.  Currently, I have narrowed my focus to just treating the child and adolescent population for psychiatric mental health concerns and disorders.

I earned a Masters of Science in Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner program (MSN-FNP) and later went on to earn my Post-Masters Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP). I am a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Neuroscience Education Institute and the American Psychiatric Nurse Association and the local Arizona Nurses Association. I am also involved in several other collaboration groups and enjoy taking students and precepting them while they are in school for their Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner practicum.

Hello

Who I am & What I do

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner

My name is Maggie and I’ve been a nurse for almost 14 years, with most of my career years spent in the fast-paced world of emergency and trauma care at a Level 1 hospital here in the Valley. Working in the ER gave me a strong medical foundation and taught me how to stay calm, think critically, and care for people in their most vulnerable moments.

That experience helped me pursue my Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree through University of Phoenix and transition into primary care, where I developed an even deeper understanding of the whole person. In primary care, I began to see just how many people—especially our young people—struggle with mental health challenges. I realized that so many physical symptoms are rooted in emotional or psychological pain, and I wanted to do more to help.

That realization inspired me to return to school and earn my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree from Herzing University. Since then, I’ve focused on working with children and teens ages 5–18, supporting them and their families as they navigate the ups and downs of growing up.

I love helping families find practical ways to support their children at home and in school so they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. I believe that mental health care is about so much more than medication—it’s about education, collaboration, and empowering families to work together toward wellness.

On a personal note, I’m married and a proud mom of two amazing kids who have faced their own challenges. Those experiences have given me a deeper empathy for what families go through, the knowledge on how to get more support from schools, and how important it is to have someone in your corner.

I grew up in California and moved to Arizona in 2008, where I’ve built my home and career in the beautiful Valley of the Sun. I’m truly passionate about helping families here find hope, balance, and connection through compassionate, holistic mental health care.
